On September 26th, 2019, HOTG founder Craig Goldenfarb and Executive Director Lisa Glasband were at the Gardens District Park in Palm Beach Gardens, Florida to present three (3) AEDs to the City’s Mayor, Councilmembers, and the Board of Directors for the PBGYAA.
The AEDs will be installed permanently at the park’s facilities. Each AED is 100% mobile which can be easily deployed to anyone suffering from sudden cardiac arrest (SCA) anywhere on the field. AEDs are proven to increase chances of survival by up to 90% when used in the first critical moments of SCA.
In addition, Mr. Goldenfarb donated a golf cart to the park, so that in the event of an emergency, quick and efficient action can be taken to deliver a life-saving AED to any corner of the new 86-acre public park.
