Heart of the Game, Inc. donates a mobile AED to Ball for Life United, a local inner city youth basketball program in West Palm Beach.
Heart of the Game, Inc. is proud to be able to donate a mobile AED to Ball for Life United, a 501 (c)(3) non-profit based in West Palm Beach. The founder of Ball for Life is Adam Charles, and the group exists to coach young inner city youth in the game of basketball. The group practices in various gyms and courts around town, and until now, never had an AED of their own.
Ball for Life is also a travel basketball team, and the mobility and convenience of this particular AED model allows the device to travel easily with the team.
Pictures and in attendance during the giveaway ceremony is HOTG founder Craig M. Goldenfarb of the Law Offices of Craig Goldenfarb, P.A., and Dave Magruder, CEO of Life Safety Solutions, a local AED distributor. This particular AED was donated by Mr. Magruder.
In August 2018, HOTG presented the AED to Mr. Charles, and got a chance to see the kids practice.
